Ham and bean soup was one of my favorites growing up. My mom used to cook it in a pot on the stove for hours. I make mine with the Instant pot now so it only takes 45 minutes but is just as tasty. I add in onions, celery, garlic, carrots and a few collard greens to add some good nutrition to the ham and beans.
